SELECTED WORK EXPERIENCE

Visual Communication Technology Instructor
Bowling Green State Univeristy – Firelands, Huron, OH 2009 - Present
Teaching beginning to advanced photography, digital imaging, interactive media, video, and screen printing classes to VCT and non-VCT majors.  Photo instruction includes standard black and white, color, alternative processes such as cyanotype, gum bichromate, screen printing, and photo history.  Digital classes focus on Adobe CS5 and Final Cut Pro 7 for fine art and design applications.  Additional responsibilities include reorganization of photography curriculum (new courses and new degree), implementing facility upgrades to both digital and analog labs, hiring and supervising adjunct professors and technicians as well as oversight of photo and digital facilities, including Epson and HP wide format printers. 

Executive Director, CreativeWilmington, Wilmington, NC 2005 - 2009
Founded and managed a public sculpture program (PedArt.com) which exhibited local and statewide sculptors in public parks and private developments. Responsibilities included fundraising, marketing, and event planning. Additionally, we created and maintained a community website with regional artist profiles, calendars, and forums (CreativeWilmington.com).
